GO Direction
GO Direction is an arena for men who want to continue the personal development they have already begun within CLAIM'N.
The work becomes more personal and more nuanced. You deepen your understanding of yourself, of other people, and of the parts of life that have to work together if you are to keep performing sustainably.
The need
CLAIM'N programmes give you methods for developing how you perform, recover, prioritise and lead yourself.
As you keep working on yourself, the questions tend to become more personal and more nuanced. You see more of the connections between how you work, how you react under pressure, how you look after your body, how you function in your relationships and how you use your time.
GO Direction is an arena for continuing the development you began in one of our programmes.
The work goes further and deeper, with more room for reflection, new perspectives and continued development in the areas that matter to you.
Purpose
In GO Direction you keep working on how you perform, how you recover, how you make decisions, how you function alongside other people and how you take responsibility for your own development.
The work goes deeper and becomes more personal.
You get more room to understand your own patterns, to develop what you have already started to change, and to work on questions that need more time, more reflection and more experience.
What worked in one situation does not necessarily work the same way once your work, your relationships, your body or your priorities change.
Goal
Sustainable performance is not only a matter of getting better at individual parts.
What you want to accomplish, how you function under pressure, how you relate to other people, what you want to develop and how you look after your physical capacity all affect one another.
In GO Direction you keep developing your ability in those areas and your understanding of how they connect.
The goal is a self-leadership that lets you keep performing at a high level without the other important parts of life being squeezed out one by one.
CLAIM'N Framework
In GO Direction you get to know the CLAIM'N Framework in greater depth.
The framework brings together five areas that shape your ability to develop a sustainable approach to performance:
Identity & Purpose
What you want to accomplish, what matters to you, and how that shapes your priorities.
Emotional & Mental Ability
How you react under pressure, handle emotion, and relate to yourself and to other people.
Connection
How you function alongside other people — at home, at work and in the other relationships that matter.
Mission & Mastery
What you want to get better at, and which skills and behaviours you need to develop.
Physical & Vital Health
Training, sleep, recovery, energy and the physical capacity your performance runs on.
Being very strong in one or two areas is not enough.
You can be good at setting goals, making decisions and performing at work while recovery, physical health or relationships work less well. Equally, training and recovering well is not enough if you lack direction, or find pressure and relationships hard to handle.
All the parts have to work together.
So in Direction you keep developing your ability across all five areas, and your understanding of how they connect.
Methods
GO Direction builds on the methods you have already met in CLAIM'N programmes, and uses them for more personal and deeper work.
You keep working with CLAIM'N protocols and methods, reflect on your own experience, and use what happens in daily life as material for continued development.
The work is not only about identifying something you want to change. You also examine why something works or does not work, and how the different parts of life affect one another.
The CLAIM'N Framework gives the work a shared structure. You decide what is relevant for you to take further.

Learning between participants
Participants come to Direction with questions and with experience.
That can be how someone works with recovery, training, relationships, family life, pressure, emotional intelligence, priorities, focus or one specific skill.
You share what works, ask questions, offer perspectives and challenge each other's reasoning.
Working to understand someone else's situation also gives you a chance to test your own assumptions, and to understand both yourself and other people better.
Experts
We sometimes bring in guest speakers and experts who can add specialist knowledge to the work. That can be:
What the experts know gives you new perspectives, new methods and new questions to use in your own continued work.
How the work runs
The development continues between the sessions.
You keep working on what is relevant to you, try new ways of acting, and bring the experience back to the group.
Together you follow up on what happened, what worked, what did not, and what needs to change.
Over time you develop more than new ways of working. You also get better at seeing what you need to work on, and how to keep your own development going.
Benefits
GO Direction gives you the chance to keep developing:
Programme structure
GO Direction runs as recurring facilitated sessions, a few times each term.
The sessions are online and run for about two hours.
The work starts from the CLAIM'N Framework, the protocols and themes within the five areas of development. The group works with the participants' own experience, questions and practices.
When it is useful, we bring in a guest speaker or an expert to go deeper into one area.
Between sessions you keep working on what is relevant to your own development.

Where it sits among CLAIM'N's programmes
GO Direction is an arena for men who want to keep working on their development after taking part in one of CLAIM'N's programmes.
Direction does not repeat what you have already done. You take further the questions, methods and areas that have become relevant to you, and use new experience from daily life as material for continued development.
You get to know the CLAIM'N Framework better, deepen your ability across the five areas, and keep developing a self-leadership that holds over time.
